About Me

For over twenty years, I’ve worked as a freelance cameraman and video editor for global brands and agencies. I’ve shot everything from booming car stereo promo videos to interviews with CEOs of top corporate companies in locations as diverse as Las Vegas and The Hebrides. I’m based near Southampton in Hampshire, so I’m able to travel up the M3 corridor and get around the M25 for London and beyond. I’m more than happy to travel pretty much anywhere.

Sony / DJI / Canon

My Kit

I own and operate a Sony FX9 camera and a wide selection of lenses that includes a set of Canon CN-E primes. If you need a second camera or something smaller, I have a Sony A7Siii for more portable and covert filming jobs. Either or both are available for hire along with me, at competitive rates. Owning the kit means I’m also ready to shoot at short notice. If you need aerial filming, I can provide the 4K drones for aerial footage and photography. I have a A2 C of C from CAA and comprehensive insurance.

FAQs

Do you do half days?

I offer half-day and full-day rates for both shooting and editing.

I can work to most budgets depending on your requirements and always try to be as flexible as possible. My rate card is available upon request. If you are interested working with me long term on a number of projects, I offer discounts based on the number of days.

Does your rate include kit?

My rate includes myself and all my kit at no extra cost. I have a lot of kit so will normally only bring what is required for that project and a few spares.

Can you travel from Southampton?

I love to travel and visit new places, so absolutely. I’ve been lucky enough to work all over the world, not just in the UK. I have a full clean drivers licence, my own car and able to travel almost anywhere.

Videographer or cinematographer?

There is a difference but a lot depends on the requirements of the project. I give a detailed answer here.
